Making a Reservation

Our family handles all reservations and strives to answer your questions to ensure this is a good fit for you. We also manage all other aspects of the ranch, so we are sometimes away from the phone. Please call during regular office hours (MST) or leave a message so we can call back as soon as possible. Email works great too! As a smaller guest ranch, we typically book up a year+ in advance, so planning early is wise. Popular weeks fill up quickly, especially for larger groups or singles.

PAYMENT: We request a 1/3 deposit of your total charges to secure your reservation. The deposit must be received within 10 days of your request, or forfeiture may result. The balance of your payment is due 30 days before your stay. If paying with Visa or MasterCard for the final payment, a 2.5% convenience fee will be added.

CHECK-IN/OUT: Sunday 4:00-5:00 p.m. and check out by 10:00 a.m. on Friday.

TRANSPORTATION: We provide transportation to and from the Great Falls International Airport on Sunday and Friday. Round-trip: $100 per person. We provide transportation as per the following schedule ONLY:

• Arrival: We typically pick up guests between 12:30 to 1:30 pm and will depart Great Falls no later than 2:00 pm on arrival day. Call beforehand for a meeting time and place. Please make flight arrivals before 2:00 pm.
• Departure: The JJJ van will leave the Ranch around 9:30 am on departure day, arriving in Great Falls around 11:30 am. Please make the departure flight after 12:00 p.m.

If your travel plans do not align with this schedule, we recommend staying at one of Great Falls’ many hotels the night before or after your stay. Let us know if you need referrals.  **Please note that airlines often overbook flights or experience delays, which may result in some guests arriving late. To avoid any issues, it’s advisable to arrive in Great Falls the day before your vacation. If your flight lands late or you have an early departure, you will need to rent a car. For alternative transportation options, please refer to the suggestions in the Transportation Policy.

Rates and policies are subject to change without notice.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If a cancellation must occur, deposits will be refunded 50% before January 1st of your vacation year. After January 1st, deposits are non-refundable and do not carry over to the next year.

We highly recommend travel insurance for “last-minute” medical or emergency cancellations through companies such as Travel Guard (www.TravelGuard.com or https://duderanch.org/plan-your-visit/travel-insurance). If you don’t purchase travel insurance, please understand that there are no exceptions to our cancellation policy.

Any changes made to your reservation after booking that result in a decrease in the number of participants will be charged a fee of $400 per person cancelled, and their portion of the deposit is forfeited. There is no discount for shortening your stay.

PARTIES OF 10 OR MORE: Reservations for 10 or more guests require a 50% non-refundable deposit and trip insurance. The balance is due 30 days before your stay. Trip Insurance is highly encouraged.

In the event of an unexpected situation beyond our control that requires the ranch to be shut down, such as a forest fire, flood, or pandemic, all monies received will be transferred to the following year at the applicable rates. There are no refunds due to inclement weather, rain, snow, smoke, wind, rider inability, etc.

Our Kids’ Program is set up for children ages 6-12 and teens ages 13-17. We do not have babysitting or activities for children under 6, but we offer half off the adult rate for nannies who watch the children.

* Lodging in cozy, private log cabins with housekeeping and private bath.
* Delicious meals & snacks: Home-style gourmet – healthy, hearty & made from scratch!
* All outdoor activities: guided horseback riding, fishing, hiking, children/teen program
* Complete use of our ranch facilities.
* All evening activities and entertainment.

RATES DO NOT INCLUDE
* Staff gratuities: we do not add a service charge; staff gratuities are optional if they exceed your expectations (15-20% typical)
* BYOB: we do not have a liquor license, but guests are welcome to bring whatever they choose.
* Fishing Licenses: while you do not need a license to fish our private trout ponds, you do need to purchase one if you fish the lake or river.
* Transportation to the ranch.
